Top 5 Theme Parks Apps Performance on iOS in the Middle East - Q1 2023

The first quarter of 2023 has seen interesting trends for the top five theme park apps in the Middle East on the iOS platform. Here are the performance highlights based on data from Sensor Tower.

Global Village Dubai experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 5.8K in late December 2022 and dropping to 1.6K by the end of March 2023. Despite the declines, there were peaks such as 4.9K downloads in the week of January 30 and 4.7K in early February.

Disneyland® Paris showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 978 in mid-March. The app's active users also saw a gradual rise, reaching 2.3K during the same period.

Disneyland® had a modest performance with weekly downloads ranging from 159 to 301 throughout the quarter. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $84 in early January and maintaining a steady flow around $20-$70 for the rest of the period. Active users showed slight variations, peaking at 819 in early March.

My Disney Experience saw notable peaks in revenue, reaching $707 in late February and $477 in the final week of March. Downloads remained relatively stable with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 205. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating between 509 and 614.

Universal Studios Japan experienced a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at 235 in early March, while active users saw a significant rise, reaching 250 during the same period.
